This week, we are escaping from New York while battling Vampires and capitalist aliens with our buddies Michael Myers, Snake Plisken, and Star man. We are of course talking about the classic films from one of the most dynamic genre-bending filmmakers, John Carpenter. John Carpenter is a man who may be responsible for not only the birth of the modern slasher film but also a large collection of some of the most beloved cult classics to come from the 1980's. His movies stand as pillars of originality that maybe were not quite as understood at the time that they premiered. So get ready to chew bubble gum and kick ass as we explore the world of John Carpenter.
