Now that the infamous New Year's 2017 stomach bug has left us, we can get down to brass tax with very exhaustive review of some of the gems and turds to grace the silver screen in 2016. In a year that brought us the deaths of countless celebrities and a gorilla and the election of a giant cheeto with tiny hands; does the world of cinema end up fulfilling our much needed escape or is it another symptom of a year that we can all say good riddance to.
